To manage complex production jobs with many independent players like departments, overseas sales offices or translation agencies you easily loose sight of the current state of your publications. Our customers get access to our internal job traffic system BWTraffic to keep track of all the jobs.
Each project can be split up into several minor jobs which could each have one or more variants - be it languages, countries, sales areas, dealer designs, OEMs etc.
To have a quick overview we use the Matrix, a table with color markers for each job variant and a percentage of completeness.
In the detailed view the customer has direct access to all former states of the publication as PDF with a description of what had to be done. Each version can be commented by all who have access to the project. This way all participents get informed of each step and all the meeting minutes.
