For our customer AWG we designed and programmed a multi-platform smartphone app.
The AWG app lets you browse through the calendar for your waste bin's pickup dates, the news articles from the website and even order addtional bins or the bulk trash pickup service right from your couch. Display a map of all AWG recycling centers in the city of Wuppertal and let your phone guide you on your car ride.
For the near future additional services are planned, like push notifications, map and routing to the nearest recycling bin for glass, paper and electronic devices etc.
